Marc was a Co-Founder and Partner at Gertz & Rosen, Ltd. whose dedication to bankruptcy and commercial law led to a practice lasting nearly 50 years. During that time, he represented both personal and business debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings. Marc served as both a Chapter 11 Trustee and a State Court Receiver and was a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for over 40 years.
In addition to his legal practice, Marc was an Adjunct Professor at The University of Akron School of Law. He frequently lectured on bankruptcy law, speaking before the Akron and Cleveland Bar Associations, the White-Williams Bankruptcy Institute, The University of Akron College of Law, and Cleveland State University. He further shared his legal knowledge and experience as a contributing writer in the book Chapter 7 Consumer Bankruptcy Strategies.
Marc was AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review-Rated in Bankruptcy through Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer for his work in bankruptcy representation.
